One of the best romantic weekends I've ever experienced was visiting a small town called Hermann, Missouri. Hermann is a small German town that is best known for having many wineries within its city limits (as well as its own brewery). One of the best weekends imaginable is renting a room at one of the many quaint bed and breakfasts, and taking a tour of all the wineries found in the town. If you had an entire weekend, you could easily make your way to all of the wineries, spending plenty of time at each to taste samples, have lunch, and buy some bottles to bring home. The town even offers a winery tour package where you are given a ride around town to visit many of the wineries available. |
